Preview; river bank protection in Leidschendam-Voorburg

21 January 2021

In cooperation with B.A.S. Begeleiding Advies Sportterreinen and contractor Jos Scholman, river bank protection of recycled artificial grass has been installed at sports park 't Loo.

B.A.S. Begeleiding Advies Sportterreinen advised the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg and thus gave substance to its circular ambition. By applying recycled and circular products, the artificial grass fibres from old, worn out artificial grass pitches are brought back on and around the sports park. Earlier, recycled artificial grass pitches were fitted with recycled artificial grass edging to prevent the spread of microplastics and to maintain the infill.
