Recycling of SBR Rubber infill in pictures: from artificial grass infill to shock-absorbent flooring

30 July 2024

SBR rubber infill from artificial grass pitches (2nd life), originally made from recycled car tyres (1st life), is given a 3rd life thanks to the cooperation between GreenMatter and CERU through a wide range of RelifeĀ® rubber products, such as shock-absorbent tiles for under exercise benches, outdoor fitness and playground equipment.

Important, because from 2030 there is a ban on SBR rubber infill in artificial grass. Fortunately, potential waste is now becoming a valuable raw material for practical applications.

The RelifeĀ® rubber products are 100% recyclable at the end of their life cycle, thus keeping the circle closed.
