Haarlem goes for circular applications!
In collaboration with SRO Haarlem, Green Engineers and Griekspoor, we realised a green bridge on the sports park at HC Haarlem on behalf of Finovi.
The bridge is made of recycled plastic with deck planks of recycled artificial grass. In the preliminary phase, together with SRO Haarlem, we looked at various solutions to incorporate the waste from the artificial grass pitches to be replaced in a circular way in this project.
Besides this bridge, water-permeable grass tiles, flower boxes and picnic tables made of recycled artificial grass were also supplied. These are great examples of how to give worn-out artificial grass pitches a new purpose on and around the sports field.
