Building an ever-greener world with Greenmatter!
Where we started six years ago with our mission to convert waste from artificial grass pitches into a circular resource stream by manufacturing recycled products, we have now come a long way.
In the years since we have been working on fulfilling our mission, we have grown enormously both in the number of products we supply and in conveying awareness. Partly because of this, it is also becoming easier and easier for all of us to meet the circular raw materials policy of 50 per cent circular by 2030 and 100 per cent circular by 2050.
GreenMatter is building the bridge to a greener world. For generations to come.
Ever since GreenMatter began, we have been trying to build bridges to ensure that awareness grows. We have noticed that more and more clients such as municipalities, engineering firms, associations and universities put this subject high on the agenda and proactively think about how to deal with artificial grass waste. Because the moment the artificial grass mat is taken in, the process does not end. A circular raw material flow needs to be set in motion by buying recycled artificial grass products. With GreenMatter, we want to build the bridge to a fully circular (sports) environment.
In 2022, this bridge was literally struck by the construction of a large bicycle bridge with grip strips on sports park Elsenburg in the municipality of Rijswijk. This is the first bridge consisting of our deck planks made of recycled artificial grass. This bridge was followed by others made of recycled artificial grass.
We are proud of our clients who think along with us about new innovative solutions and that they contribute with our products to the transition to a circular economy with regard to the raw materials agreement to be 100% circular in 2050. We would like to work with existing and future partners to ensure that we arrive at a fully circular (sports) environment. In any case, the first bridges have been built. Who is helping to build new bridges?
