For years, FC Lisse has consciously chosen sustainable solutions, and this is clearly visible across the sports complex. With the proceeds from the auction on November 1, investment was made in sustainable outdoor furniture. The worn wooden picnic tables have been replaced with picnic tables made from recycled artificial turf: a circular and future-proof choice.
Sustainability at FC Lisse is not a one-off initiative but an ongoing vision. Throughout the complex, you’ll find sustainable benches, picnic tables, and waste bins. Even the fencing is constructed from planks made of recycled artificial turf. In this way, FC Lisse actively contributes to the reuse of decommissioned artificial turf fields, giving materials a second life in circular applications. A great step toward a more sustainable sports environment!
