In the Netherlands' raw materials policy, it has been agreed that by 2030, we collectively want to use 50% less primary raw materials (minerals, metals and fossil fuels) in the manufacture of new products. So the other 50% will have to come from valuable raw materials extracted from waste streams!
It is an ambitious target, but today awareness is not yet in line with the growth we still need to achieve to get close to this goal.
We have picked up the gauntlet to initiate a raw material flow in plastic from worn-out artificial grass pitches, of which there are about 200 every year.
Our products from recycled artificial turf will help create sports facilities of the future that are not only circular, but also more sustainable!
What are you already doing to contribute to the target in the raw materials policy, which sets even more ambitious goals by 2050?
