Cruyff Court equipped with batterboards made of recycled artificial grass

19 September 2024

Commissioned by the municipality of Heemskerk, the Cruyff Court Rafael van der Vaart has been fitted with batterboards all around. The boards are made of recycled artificial grass from worn-out artificial grass pitches. They aim to combat the spread of microplastics.

By choosing batterboards made of recycled artificial grass, the municipality has actively contributed to reducing artificial grass waste in line with its raw materials policy.
