At the Sportpark Uiterwaardenstraat in Amsterdam’s Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood, the old wooden boarding was recently renovated. As the municipality of Amsterdam is always proactive in bringing back the waste of worn-out artificial grass pitches in a circular way, it was decided to replace the broken wooden boarding with our recycled artificial grass spring and groove boards. The boarding is used as a skating rink by the Netherlands’ largest skate and inline hockey club ‘RS Survivors Amsterdam’, among others. A total of 3,805 kg of artificial grass waste was processed in this project. Think in wood, make it in recycled artificial grass.
