Playing sports on a new floor made of recycled artificial grass; how nice is that. Sportbedrijf Arnhem has the scoop on this by being the first to put a modular sports floor made of recycled artificial grass into use. Together with our manufacturer of modular floors, Bergo Sports Flooring, we have developed a GreenMatter tile that consists of 50% recycled raw materials from worn-out artificial grass pitches.
At sports centre Valkenhuizen, the first 3×3 basketball court was recently built with GreenMatter modular sports tiles. According to Leo Berrevoets, manager Property & Sustainability at Sportbedrijf Arnhem, they have sustainability high on their agenda and make a conscious choice for the most sustainable option. The GreenMatter modular tile is available in the artificial grass colour (dark green), in the variants GreenMatter Ultimate and GreenMatter Ultimate Plus and can be provided with lines and logos. It is also possible to combine the GreenMatter tile with the plastic modular tiles to choose different colours. The floor is 100% recyclable.
