Climate-Adaptive parking area Made from recycled artificial grass

7 April 2026

In Delft, a parking area has been developed using Ecoraster grass pavers made from recycled artificial grass.

A total of 4,875 kg of artificial turf has been repurposed as raw material.

Materials from artificial grass fields that have reached the end of their lifecycle are given a new application here. The open structure ensures water permeability and helps reduce heat stress—features that align with changing climate conditions.
