GBN-AGR
GBN-AGR is a supplier of recycled raw materials (RTA) for our products. GBN-AGR has a recycling facility in Amsterdam and supplies RTA to us. In GBN AGR’s process, artificial turf (after it has been knocked empty, cleaned and reduced in size) is processed into an agglomerate. RTA stands for Recycled Turf Agglomerate and is an agglomerate of the recycled artificial turf. Accordingly, we ensure that waste from artificial turf pitches is converted into a circular raw material stream by manufacturing recycled products.
Empatec
For any machining and assembly of our products, we use the services of Empatec. Empatec is a social work company for people with a distance to the labour market.
Bergo Flooring
Bergo Flooring is an international player in the field of modular sports floors. Normally, these tiles are made of polypropylene. Together with Bergo, we looked at whether artificial grass fibres could be used to produce the modular sports floor tiles. And we succeeded! The GreenMatter modular sports floor consists of 50% reusable raw materials from worn artificial grass pitches. The tile is available in the artificial grass colour (dark green) and 100% recyclable after its end-of-life.
QR-FIT
QR-FIT makes people move more through its accessible and unique exercise offer. Exercise routes with QR codes allow everyone to exercise at their own level. Behind the QR codes is an exercise that you can perform simply by watching the short instruction video. The exercises rotate every day, making every day a unique exercise experience. The uprights with the QR code on them were made of wood, but from now on, only our uprights made of recycled artificial grass will be installed.
Daplast
With chair manufacturer Daplast, we have developed a concept as a contribution to the circular economy with the aim of: closing the life cycle of products as much as possible, reducing the use of water/energy and preventing waste through reuse. The grandstand seats are 100% recyclable and can be reused to make other plastic products. In addition, we were able to develop the GreenMatter grandstand chair with them. You guessed it; this grandstand chair is made of artificial grass fibres.
KUCK FITNESS
KUCK FITNESS is a manufacturer of outdoor fitness equipment. These are made of high-quality Azobé hardwood and stainless steel, giving them a natural look. In cooperation with KUCK FITNESS, we looked into the possibilities of making equipment from recycled artificial grass and succeeded. We offer two fitness parks (basic & athletic) with various pieces of equipment made of recycled artificial grass for a complete workout.
Purus
Purus develops and produces high-quality and sustainable products from recycled secondary raw materials. In this way, they make a positive contribution to conserving raw materials and reducing waste and CO2. Two of these products are the ecoraster (grass)tile and the ecoraster bloxx, both made from recycled plastic derived from household waste, which they have been successfully manufacturing for more than 25 years. Together with Purus, we set to work to produce a grass tile and a bloxx incorporating recycled artificial grass. And we succeeded! The permeable ecoraster (grass)tile and ecoraster bloxx combine circularity, biodiversity and climate adaptation and can be used for soil reinforcement and soil stabilisation. They are made of 100% recycled plastic of which 50% is recycled synthetic turf from worn-out artificial grass pitches. The other 50% consists of plastic derived from household waste. At the end of its life, the tile and the bloxx are 100% recyclable.
SolarWoodle
SolarWoodle is a young and innovative company that aims to provide the world with the right atmosphere at night. They do so exclusively with solar-powered wireless lighting, which means the product contributes to the circularity of the living environment and the environmental impact is therefore very low. Whereas the poles were previously made of wood, founder Bernard Wesseling has now deliberately chosen our poles made of recycled artificial grass.

Partner in circular design of public spaces
To create a sustainable and user-friendly living environment, GreenMatter collaborates with VERHEES Products. This partner develops and produces street furniture based on the cradle-to-cradle principle.
Their products are made from recycled plastic, certified wood, maintenance-free concrete, and metals—all materials that are recyclable again. And now also from recycled artificial turf. Thanks to a clear process, from advice and design to installation and aftercare, they deliver tailor-made solutions that give every public space added value and identity.

Play and activity equipment
W&H Play wants children to discover, move, and connect in a safe and playful way, within an environment that is circular, stimulating, and future-oriented. Our W&H Play line – powered by GreenMatter – consists of circular play solutions made from recycled materials. In doing so, we give worn artificial turf fields a second life and create play areas with a strong focus on play value, safety, and social impact.

The Solar Range harnesses solar energy in the most innovative way. By integrating it into street furniture and lighting, we make public spaces more accessible, safer, and future-proof. All applications within The Solar Range reduce dependence on the power grid.
Now that we can finish our street furniture with slatted panels made from recycled artificial grass — sourced from worn-out sports fields — we’re taking the next step in sustainability. Thanks to our collaboration with GreenMatter, we’ve found the ultimate combination of solar technology and circularity.
